Gamespot has posted the first official look out horror sequel Outlast 2 and it appears to be just as scary as the first game. The sequence takes place outside and includes that old horror staple, a corn field. The night vision camera, used to great effect the first game, also returns.

Liking the look of this. Great setting too – looks to be based on those Deep South slasher flicks.
Hopefully the gameplay is a bit more intuitive this time.

Loved the first one a lot, the DLC was a day one buy for me, and so will be this. And if it supports PSVR, I’ll order the device today. :o)

Thought the original was great but the effect kind wore off after a while. I’d love to see a game like this without all the grotesque finger chopping scenes and twisted supernatural creatures. It would have been better if you were wondering around an empty asylum in the 50’s, finding clues to explain why everyone disappeared. Then at the end it’s revealed that one of the doctors went mad, padlocked the doors and started killing everyone.
