The Sniper Elite series has taken more cracks at Hitlers life than any other game series I can think of, but it’s never within the main thread of the story. The Target: Fürher mission comes as a pre-order bonus for Sniper Elite 4, giving you dozens of ways to try and take him him out.
Where a body double to Hitler was found visiting a cafe in North Africa last time out, this mission takes place in a huge U-boat facility that wouldn’t be out of place in a Bond film. The whole mission, just like the main campaign, can be played in single player or with two player co-op, with dedicated achievements and trophies for successfully assassinating Hitler in different ways.
It’s free for all retail and digital pre-orders of the game, and will also be available separately once the game has launched f0r PS4, Xbox One and PC on 14th February 2017.
