Mass Effect Andromeda’s Won’t Have An MP Beta After All

If you were looking to get some hands-on time with Mass Effect Andromeda and its’ co-op multiplayer before launch then you’re probably out of luck. That’s unless you happen to be attending PAX East later this month and queue for one of twelve PCs set up at the BioWare booth.

BioWare revealed that its MP tech test has been shelved despite taking sign-ups. No reason was given for the cancelation but with Andromeda out in just a few weeks, fans won’t have to wait long to finally jump in. Let’s just hope there won’t be any major technical issues at launch.

  1. The MP on mass effect 3 was excellent, loved it. Really hoping they build upon that for Andromeda. Looking forward to this game immensely.

  2. Apparently the game is in a right mess. Hope it’s not true. Loved Mass Effect 2!

  3. I have heard the game has gone gold and I can see why Bioware cancelled it. Not much time for them to tweak stuff and delaying the release of it may annoy a good portion of fans just because MP stuff. I do think it may be a cost issue and they may have just ran out of their budget and EA won’t let them do a beta.

Or the MP is god awful and they are hiding it.

I miss the days where Demos were commonplace. *sigh* Can we have Demos make a return this year?
