Rallycross is set to be a pretty big part of Dirt 4, and the latest trailer wants to make sure you know it. This is the official game of the FIA World Rallycross championship, after all.
The above trailer shows off wheel to wheel racing between Supercars at Lohéac Bretagne, Montalegre, Lydden Hill, Hell and Holjes, but Dirt 4 also lets you race with RX2, Super 1600s, Group B classics and crosskarts within this mode.
It’s been developed in collaboration with two time World Rallycross Champion Petter Solberg, withe the handling model having been adapted around his feedback, to try and get as close to the real thing as possible. Of course, it doesn’t take a champion to be able to get the rules of Rallycross right, with short 4 to 6 lap races around circuits that mix both dirt and asphalt sections, and the mandatory Joker Lap.
