More temptations, thankfully the summer sale lasts another 2 weeks!
coruscant
Very annoying for anyone who bought Wipeout recently… *cough* me *cough* >:(
Avenger
Are you serious? It’s been £20 at loads of online outlets since release.
MrYd
There’s also someone trying to sell it for £2000 on ebay.
But it’s the steelbook edition, which makes it worth more, apparently. But not £2000 worth.
And it doesn’t have the game, just a £2000 case.
With a dent in.
For £2000.
Still, the postage is only £2.
sparkyscrum
Wow the Steelbook case was like £10 on Amazon prior to it coming out (I have one)

Anyone seen gravity rush 2 cheaper? Might hold out a bit longer.
MrYd
It was £30 last time it was on sale in June, and £25 back in March (plus £5 more without PS+). Not seen a physical copy for much below £30.
So £19.99 is a bargain.
And now you’ve tempted me to add even more stuff I might get around to playing sometime this century.
matthangzhou
Same mate. I’ve got such a backlog. Couldn’t face it so bought a switch and started building up a new backlog.
MrYd
That’s an interesting plan to deal with a backlog. Not entirely convinced it works though, unless you burn all your previous consoles. Or sell them. That’s probably the better option.
Just starting another on a new console doesn’t really solve the problem.
Then again, my plan of “My backlog’s too big! I know, I’ll start on Elite Dangerous” wasn’t the best plan either.
h6exx
How about we set up a national backlog day? One day where you are only allowed to play games from your backlog.. make it a bank holiday, then we can lose the mandatory B&Q trip and decorating!
Andrew
At least you won’t have to ever worry about having a backlog on the switch.

Splatoon 2. Tetris. Mario Kart. Over cooked. Arms.
All reviewed well and I’ve not had time to do any justice.

PS Prices is very handy in this situation, you can see where the prices have been previously https://psprices.com/region-gb/game/1183920/gravity-rushtm-2
MrYd
Why did I not mention that? It’s where I got the £30 and £25 prices from.
It’s a remarkably useful site, usually having all the deals before Sony even announce them or gather them together in the store. Also covers MS and Nintendo platforms as well.
And it seems to be one of those rare things these days where just 1 person (a Russian by the looks of it) builds something because he thinks it might be useful to other people, not for any other reason. Those sorts of things always end up being useful and something I regularly visit.
MrYd
So I don’t get the “avoid buying stuff in the sale” trophy this week. And that’s with the “store broken in all sorts of weird ways” cheat to help me.
It’d be wrong to just buy the remastered CoD:MW on it’s own when you could have Infinite Warfare thrown in for just 5 quid more, yes?
And if you were going to buy both games for £39.99, it’d be silly not to spend a bit extra and get the IW season pass included for £50, right? Just £50.34 for the “digital deluxe” edition with both games and the season pass?
It was either that or Mass Effect Andromeda, but I tried the 10 hour demo of that and realised it really is just as bad as people have been saying.
Oh well. CoD will have downloaded in time for a weekend of shooting fun. I’m not sure which weekend, as it’s 130GB for the 2 games.
