The first review of Black Rock Studio’s Split/Second: Velocity has appeared, with GamesMaster magazine bestowing a respectable 86% grade on the blistering racer.
Quoting some “brilliant gameplay modes” and a high degree of polish in the graphics department, the publication goes on to quote some detractions including the lack of skilful gameplay required and the fact that it is not as “fast” as Burnout.
A Split/Second: Velocity demo hit XBL this week and a PS3 version is due on May 11th. The full game releases in Europe on May 21st.
