What We Played – Pragmata, Dosa Divas & Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss

And like that, it’s Friday again. This week’s gaming has been a similar rush, and I’ve been really enjoying Pragmata on Switch 2, which is an awesome sci-fi tale. Besides that, there’s been a touch more Crimson Desert as I shuffle closer to sticking a score on it.

Pragmata on Switch 2 look pretty good!

Having played Starfield for review, and enjoyed it despite itself, Gamoc is now moving on to Ghost Master for his next piece. Meanwhile, Tuffcub has played Mouse PI for Hire, and you can read all of his words on that right now.

Nic B finished Spider-Man 2, saying “It’s a great game. Now, back to working my way through my shame pile!”

In stark contrast, Jim took a quick spin with DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing. He said, “For some reason I grabbed it in a sale thinking it would be a decent Mario Kart 8 alternative for the family to enjoy. It isn’t.”

Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss – strange growth

Steve spent a lot of time with the superb Pragmata for our review, he’s also been finishing off Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss and checking out his usual assortment of indie titles, with Moves of the Diamond Hand “An excellent and very weird immersive sim where everything is dice rolls”, No-Skin “Single house horror turn based roguelike” and Ground Zero which he said, “I’ve been excited for but code came too late for a launch review.”

Aran played Dosa Divas, saying “It was fun but with a harder hitting story than I expected from it. I also played some more Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, and have now got Dondoku Island to a 3 star resort. I think I’ve spent more time on that island than the main story now.”

Dosa Divas world and visual style

Ade started on Aphelion for review last night… but he can’t talk about that yet. So… this is a very boring update from him, and we swiftly move on to Tef to round things out. He’s still dipping into The Division: Resurgence, more out of habit than having much more to see or do in the game, but has enjoyed the opening half of Pragmata greatly, which he played to get capture for our video review. Lastly, he popped to New Game Plus as part of London Game Fest yesterday, which was excellently busy yesterday, with one of the highlights being a raucous session of Heave Ho 2!

What about you? What have you played?
