I don’t think anyone has thought “What if Twin Peaks, Silent Hill, and Amiga classic Another World had a baby?”, but maybe developer Wych Elm did, as they have created Silver Pines.
Described as an “eerie survival-horror Metroidvania”, the game has you playing as Private Investigator Red Walker in the titular town, “a place that feels like it’s on the edge of a dream and the waking world.” Your job is to track down the wonderfully named Eddie Velvet, a musician who has vanished from the face of the Earth.

Silver Pines will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC via Epic Games Store and Steam on 8th October 2026.
