Clowntown is an upcoming party game where clowning around is encouraged

Batterystaple Games, the development team behind 30XX, has revealed its next project and this time it is a clown show. Clowntown is a multiplayer co-op party game in which two to eight players can play through 100 minigames where teamwork is needed to progress. At the end of the journey is a showcase with the Ringmaster.

Clowntown does have an element of competition too with the Contest Mode, in which players are not working with each other but facing off against each other in the minigames. The minigames themselves evolve from simple to slightly stress inducing. One of those is the Spelling Bee series. It starts with spelling short words, but the second stage is called Spelling Wasp in which a 28 word needs to be spelt. The final stage is called Bees Spelling where you have to grab bees and use them to spell words.

Clowntown is going to be released on PC via Steam, but there is no release date yet.
