Game Dev Story was (and is) a massive hit for Japanese developers Kairosoft, taking the App Store (and Geekdom in general) by storm. We talked about it in length here, but in short Game Dev Story is a wildly addictive micro-management sim based around building up your own game development studio.
It was a surprise hit for the developers themselves, too. “It made us happy to know that people had the same feeling about game making,” they said in an interview with AppBank. And now Touch Arcade have picked up on the great news that the team will be porting the sequel, which was previously only available for the PC back in 2000, and in Japanese, to the iPhones.
“We will be developing a sequel, but we are not planning on releasing it soon,” said the developers. “We are thinking of improving the game by adding elements of networking in the sequel, such as sales score rankings and sending employees to a friend’s company, etc.”
In the meantime, before we get Game Dev Story 2, Kairosoft are working on a game “like SimCity” but hopefully it won’t be too long before we get the game we really want.

Can anyone tell me how to hire a hardware engineer. I want to build my own console but van never find the engineer.

SPOILERS, if you don’t want to ruin the fun of randomly trying stuff look away now.
You’ve got to make use of the career change manuals, and upgrade someone to level 5 of every other career. Then change them to hardware engineer. Voila you can now make a console. Good Luck
