Homefront ‘Multiplayer’ Developer Diary

A new developer diary for ‘Homefront’ has been released, this time focusing on the multiplayer mode. 32 player battles are the norm here, with the key being to make the experience accessible, intuitive, but also fun.  For completing certain tasks you are given ‘Battle Points’ which can be spent on weapons, vehicles, and ammo.  You can purchase these on the fly, so if you are having trouble getting past a tank, you can lay down some Battle Points in exchange for a rocket launcher – BOOM!

  1. looks like mag. might have to play mag now ;)

    • C’mon guys looks nothing like that horrid, drab, dirty looking MAG which i thought was bloody dreadful to play! If anything it just looks like it’s own game and i can not wait for it! Loved FFOW as well!

  2. Looks really good! It’s like a mix between MAG, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty

  3. This actually looks to be shaping up quite nicely. Think I just might pick it up.

  4. Is it just me or do the gun scopes look awful?

    • is that all that you got from that video…..gun scopes? Surely gameplay is far more important?

      • Yep. Well, it is what I spend most of my time looking at when playing FPS. It all adds to MY gaming experience!

  5. learn to say vehicle!

  6. Hope their is a Beta/Demo for this:)
