Here we are with a second helping of chaotic lunacy from Kris, Lewis and myself. We’re calling this Episode 1 and classing the Christmas spectacular as a trial run.
In this week’s episode you’ll get the chance to hear us briefly discuss a weird, pared down city management sim, a shit level of a game we all (well, Kris and I) love and which consumer electronic device has a pretty decent speaker. I think we cut out Lewis’ glowing endorsement of Premier Inn hotels and how comfortable their beds are.
This week we did really well and made it ten minutes in before Kris threatened to start cutting content and I made a comment which even Lewis seemed a little shocked at. We also had a movie quiz in which I did spectacularly well but I think Kris has edited out my best bits*.
One word of warning: Skype wasn’t having a good evening and the call quality was, at times, terrible. So, Kris has edited around everything he could and cut out the worst of it but there may still be parts which aren’t as clear as we’d hoped and one or two things did have to get cut completely.
Apparently Kris is making us record another one this week and we’re using a new fancy VOIP thing that should be better quality. If you’d like to suggest that we talk about something, or ask us a question, then you can email our snazzy new email address: podcasts[at]thesixthaxis[dot]com. We might read some out or answer some questions or we might let Lewis have your return address. It’s a lottery.
So, this is not a pure gaming podcast but it’s about as close as you’re likely to get from a site which embraces the off-topic with alarming regularity. We’ll talk about games, movies, even some comics and a bit of bestiality. If you’re of a sensitive disposition or don’t like hearing idiots swear then you should definitely not listen. If you’re not easily offended and you think that other podcasts are just too professional for your ears then this might be just the ticket. Spread the word, if we get good feedback we’ll keep making more.

yes, that’s the Xmas spectacularific one. This new one should seed to those places but we don’t know exactly how long it will take.
We want iTunes reviews and subscriptions though, it validates us as human beings.

Downloaded this onto my PS3 and it plays fine but when I copy it over to my phone it wont play.
All other podcasts seem to work fine, so don’t think it’s a problem with the phone itself. any help? (I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading which didn’t work.
Anyways not sure if anyone else is having this problem but just thought I’d mention it.
