Just a bump to give everyone a reminder!
LittleBigPlanet fever is starting to wear off. We were bursting with excitement to play the beta, dismayed at its delay and then overjoyed at its arrival, but now its here we’ve been discussing whether it will be a mainstream solution for Sony or if it’s actually a bit too hardcore. We’ve also been ranting at the price of its DLC and talking about the problems it’s faced. Don’t worry though, we still love it and we’re going to keep on talking about it as long as you love it because we love you too.
Not in that way, we were never confused!
For those of you who don’t already own LittleBigPlanet (why not?) TSA is going to give you an extra incentive to rush out and get it.
We’re holding a competition to see who can come up with the best LittleBigPlanet level creation. Hopefully this will be an opportunity to learn, discuss and really get to grips with the create mode. CC_Star might even learn how to get his sponges to stick to his string.
Visit TSA’s wonderful forums to find out how to enter.
P.S. Thanks to BioEye who had the brilliant idea in the first place. And Michael for saying we could do it.
Now go create!

Great stuff, can’t wait
Got the sponge and string sorted.
If I don’t come last I’ll count it as a win, although I probably will
November 16th, 2008 at 12:18 am
Would we win anything?

Yes, we don’t really know what yet but there will definitely be something.
Whatever happened to friendly competition? It’s all about the benjamins these days…

Awesome, then I will start making a level tomorrow (technically today, but I mean Sunday, after I’ve woken up).
Either way, prize or not, I’m still entering…
A little extra incentive to enter is never a bad thing, blue

Competition open (and prize?!) to folk in Australia?
Hopefully I have some time before my next exam to make and submit something!

Competition definitely is, not sure about the prize because details are sketchy (read: half-baked) but I would imagine we can sort something out.

I’ll enter this thing for fun (and a prize) xD
could be interesting to see how this will turn out. I’ve seen many great things from various TSA members so far.

Good luck to all those entereing, sadly though, i wont be submitting anything, I have 3 other games to play (Motorstorm PR, ME, and COD:WaW).
Sorry to dissapoint you.

Great idea. Not sure what I can get done in a week but I guess we’ll see. Only problem is I’m a bit of a perfectionist.
Can I submit my level after the twelfth of Never?
November 16th, 2008 at 12:34 pm
Awww ! I LOVE YOU TOO !
November 16th, 2008 at 12:43 pm
ahh…. Im so glad to be commenting on TSA. Iv been swamped here lately with work and the liking but as soon as I saw this I momentarily stopped getting whipped by my life to check it out! Good thinking all involved for thinking this up:)

Oh YEAH!
Go me…
November 16th, 2008 at 3:05 pm
You could give away a husky, Michael would spend every waking hour on his level
November 16th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
does it need to say sixth axis anywhere or is it just a level in general
edit: nm I read the forum post
November 17th, 2008 at 12:25 am
I’d say 1 week isn’t enough time to do a really good level, but luckily I’m unemployed at the moment…
November 17th, 2008 at 8:31 am
1 week is plenty of time.

Not for me, I’m slow.

Count me in. I’ve already started creating when my fortune-teller told me about this competition a week ago

Cb mate, LittleBigPlanet fever is definitely going to ramp up again over Christmas as Santa zooms by so don’t count us non-owners out yet!
As an aside, does anyone know if you can copy LBP levels to USB sticks and consequently email them using a peerhsohnaalle compeeyootah? Like a million other people I’ll be making a monster Indiana Jones themed level which I don’t intend on letting the moderators see but would like my mates to play and help me build

Unfortunately there’s no extra save file for your levels, so I don’t think this will work. But you can publish the level, lock it from public access and distribute the key to your friends (with a little trick; see this forum topic:
