Marked as a rumour until we get a proper translation, but today’s Famitsu magazine says something about a demo for Resident Evil 5, with co-op, on the 5th of December. This is presumably only a Japanese demo, and we’re not sure whether it’s for the PS3 or the 360, or both.
Further investigation required, then. Stay tuned.
Update: OK, we’ve now learnt that the demo will be exclusive to the Xbox 360. Sorry guys. According to IGN (who have just run a story on this) the game will feature two levels from the game’s urban setting playable both single player and online via the new co-op mode, as we thought.
Update 2: Looks like not only will the above Resident Evil 5 demo be coming out at least in America, but there’ll be a PS3 demo too, so it’s clearly not exclusive, according to ShackNews, who appear to have mistakenly quoted IGN as the original source of the news. Tut.

I’ve had a JP account ever since I got my PS3 (along with a US and my actual EU accts), but it is hardly ever used. However when it does get used, it seems to be far better than anything in the other stores.
This is what I’ve got from the JP store. Ever.
1st time - ninja gaiden sigma demo
2nd time - GT5P demo
3rd time - Home beta invite
Although, I hardly ever use it, Im glad I never deleted it..

This is great news that we get a demo of this game - it’s one of the two reasons I got the ps3. Great site by the way guys, I am one of the lurkers coming out of the shadows! Keep up the good work
