The download content for Little Big Planet was meant to start again tomorrow, but it’s now been put back a week, we’ve been told. The first downloads, to arrive on the 26th of January, will be Chinese New Year costumes, available for 10 days. Following that, on the 29th (the regular Thursday update) will be a God of War mini pack (some stickers), the Kratos costume (yup) and a Groundhog Day costume, presumably for the Americans.

A Valentine’s pack will arrive the week after and be available for two weeks, enough time to make your partner a cute little LBP level full of hearts and bunnies, and then the following Thursday will bring an Ape Escape costume and the Toro one from the Japanese store last year. Most interesting is the Wipeout Costume Kit, above, available on the 19th of February. More at the EU.PlayStation.com forums.

Think the pic in the article above is of the wipeout costumes, looks like they got them round their waist.

Hmm… items protruding from around the waist waist of a sackboy? No comment

A traditional delay…
But I’m looking forward to the Chinese New Year costume and the God of War stuff. Can’t really imagine what a Wipeout costume will look like

I will definatly not be buying the Wipeout costume kit. It looks terrible. Let’s have some more good tie-ins akin to the MGS pack please…

Dammit I was hoping the groundhog day costume would be an angry Bill Murray holding a groundhog…I can live in hope for next year I guess…

Wipeout costume will probably look like the special T.V suit.
Or maybe premade curves for level creation.

Yay! Been waiting for the Ape Escape costume- started playing it again today- on my PS2, because my PS3 runs the game but it will not work with the sixaxis controller! I thought PS(one) compatability was 100%… oh well…
Guess I’d better get the Valentine’s kit to keep the Mrs sweet…

I made a Christmas card on LBP for my girl and she loved it. I think I’ll have to do the whole Valentine thing too. Loving the Chinese outfits and the Kratos pack is a must. The Wipeout costumes are growing on me, time will tell if it blossoms into a ‘buy’ or is just another fungal infection.

Groundhog Day is the funniest film ever made, I’m hoping for a Bill Murray costume, and if there is one then it will be my first and only ever costume purchase

Personally I love the Wipeout costumes! Too cute. I could see my nephew wearing one of those.

I think the Chinese New Year and the Groundhog day ones are free. The others are priced.
