Under Siege

Merry Christmas everyone! What? It’s not? Oh sorry then; the snow seems to have caused some confusion in my brain. Not to worry though.
Just bringing you news on a newly announced title for our favourite black box for you all to enjoy. It supports the most fitting of titles, as my housemates and myself are currently launch snowballs from our windows (and I know it’s not just me).
Seed Studio are working on a PS3-exclusive RTS, titled Under Siege which is currently expected to be released this year. Lead designer on the game said: “Under Siege features an original world, unique gameplay elements and a control scheme designed with a console controller in mind.”
“We are also working on implementing a large number of multiplayer and community features with special emphasis on user generated content,” he added via the games site.

Just reading the comments on the site and it they say it’s a PSN title.
Kind of disappointed at first but then saw the screen shot again and realized it looks damn sexy.

could be a quality PSN title by the looks of it, wonder how long we’ll have to wait to get this after it’s released in the US?

gotta love it when a studio places special emphasis on user-generated content. I can’t help but feel like LBP really started something there

Oooooh looks good. I’m a huge fan of Age of Empires/Mythology.
I just wonder if an RTS would work for the PS3. The keyboard and mouse combination is probably more suited

Cool, I like RTS. Not very good at them (looking at you Endwar) but they’re fun all the same. Stormrise, Red Alert 3, looks like I have to start saving!
