Gran Turismo Comes To Life

Cars are great right? They make lots of noise, go really fast and can improve your sex appeal by at least 20%. Last March our PS3s got that 20% with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and today, London got the same treatment.

Gran Turismo took realism to the next level this morning when it literally came to life as the GTbyCITROËN, a concept supercar previously only existing in the game, was let loose in Central London. Done partly as a way of recreating the much loved Prologue track and also to generate some more excitement for the full game which should be arriving at the end of the year.

“The result of a unique partnership between Citroën and Polyphony, the GTbyCITROËN concept measures nearly five metres long (4.96m) and just over a metre high (1.09m) with an impressive supercar design sporting wide air intakes, rear air-diffuser, horizontal LED headlamps, gull wing doors and diamond-effect 21inch aluminium wheels. Inside the cabin offers a refined racing experience with copper, steel and black leather finishes combined with hi-tech racing controls.” says the press release.
