Exclusive: PS3 To Pick Up 360 Title

Whilst we can’t reveal any specifics right now, we can now reveal that the PlayStation 3 will play host to a popular 360 favourite. The title, which has to remain under wraps with us for the time being, will be released towards the end of the year. We’ve been promised more information in roughly a month’s time, at which point we’ll be able to share the specifics, first.
Our contact has also let us know that the studio will have other exciting news to share soon enough. Note that we can not talk about this further at this stage.

Update: I think people need to get a grip on the size of this site and get a little perspective, we’re just a little fansite with a nice jump here… We appreciate the guesses and speculation, but come on, people, be realistic – this isn’t some mad rumour or something from a ‘mole’, but the title in question is something we think you’ll be interested in.

It is gonna be Geras of war (Hope im right). If you guys dont think there is a hint, there is. Check the google ad right above the title of this article. Its a gears of war ad. And it hasnt changed yet.

Mass Effect? Left 4 Dead? Gears?
Based on the release date I would guess the first two, but given that there is other exciting news I am hoping its Gears, because that might mean EPIC will also bring over Shadow Complex…although Microsoft touted it as an exclusive during E3.

I don’t think Mass Effect or Gears Of War would be coming to PS3 but after the EA issue I am pretty sure it might be Left 4 Dead.

Mass Effect, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the possibility of it comming to the PS3. Nothing is confirmed but seeing as EA owns the rights and Bioware are talking about the PS3…

Gears of War make’s sense.
Here are my reasons why:
1. Epic Games had a 2 game deal with Microsoft on Gears of War, Epic has the rights to the Gears IP.
2. Epic Games Cliffy B has stated that they cant take the Gears Universe any further because they have maxed out the potential of the 360.
3. Epic Games has also publicly stated that they hate that Microsoft has forced them to charge for their DLC, in that DLC should be free to create revenue of more game sale’s (look at Unreal Tournament 3 Titan Pack).
4. Because I want it to.

it will not be halo, Microsoft own the franchise/name/ip/limited edition drink.
realistically, its Bioware, they’ve been praising the PS3 in the past fortnight it makes sense.
However, could nofi tell us if its a downloadable title or a full retail?
I’s hate for it to be Braid, although it is fun.

Checked the Bioware site and there’s a ‘New Next Gen Game’ in the list of upcoming games. It’s the only one not to have an associated link.
My money’s also on something from Bioware.

Braid was my initial thought!
I too doubt it will be Halo, or Gears for that matter. I dont think it will be an old game comming to the PS3, apart from somthing downloadable like Braid. But, a NEW game thats currently in the works, might be the one. Mass Effect 2 and Crackdown 2, im looking at you.

I’ve been hearing rumours that Gears Of War 3 will be multiplatform and that it will be published by Epic themselves. Who knows, but it also can be Mass Effect 2 or Left 4 Dead 2

I personally think GOW is a bit rubbish. I found it very repetitive and the online was boring, I bought an Xbox for that, and had sold it a month later.

I’m thinking either one of the XBLA games (maybe Braid?) or Mass Effect. Anything else that’s a “favourite” is pretty much owned by MS.
