PS3 Slim Rumours: September 2nd, 299 Euro?

We’re still waiting on Sony’s official word, of course, but if the PS3 Slim isn’t announced formally at GamesCom next month we’ll eat our hats. The latest rumours today revolve around a release date of the 2nd of September and a price: €299. This is coming from “retail sources” who also suggest we’ll get something concrete in Cologne, although we stress this is second hand information and that nobody has contacted us directly, yet.
