Our friends at Capybaragames have exclusively revealed to TheSixthAxis that a European release date for the PSN puzzler Critter Crunch has been locked down: it’s the 19th of November.  The game, which scored 9/10 in our review, is a “charming, funny and extremely well-presented game with solid and engaging gameplay mechanics” and it’s out in less than two weeks.

As soon as we get details on pricing we’ll let you know, and we’re giving the guys at Capy Chinese burns until they hand over some competition codes, too.

  1. AWESOME. Loved the demo. Looking forward to this very much. Though given my Uncharted 2 should FINALLY arrive prior to this… don’t know when I’ll play it. But I will!

    • Not got Uncharted 2 yet?! I’m just waiting on MW2 to arrive, should need a break from it by the time this comes out.

      • Where was the demo? US store?

      • I had it pre-ordered ages ago. It got lost in the post, and my claim has finally been sorted. Been a hard three weeks. At least Ratchet and Clank is here now :D .

      • The demo is on the US store.

  2. Excellent :) , was waiting on a release date for this. Hopefully will be a decent (read: inexpensive) price as well.

    • I got the game from the US store a few weeks back and it only cost $6.99 so it should be affordable here. It’s a good game but in the later levels it gets frustratingly difficult lol.

  3. Cool, i enjoyed the demo loads.

  4. I got the US version, its a really fun game and probably worth it :D

  5. always good! ill pick that up

  6. Terrific game. It’s sad to see this lagging behind mediocre (and more expensive) fare like Zombie Apocalypse on the US store, so hopefully it can find a bigger audience elsewhere.

  7. Time to get a PSN card

  8. This one looks fun. Depends on pricing though.

    • yeah same here good price point i hope

  9. Thorght the demo was rubbish so ill be giving this a miss.
Would expect it to be aroun £7.99 though

    • *around*

    • It won’t be anywhere near that. For a start it was only $7 over here, and they’ve said the UK price will be priced fairly to match that, so I’d expect between £4 or £5.

      • I hope you’re right dude. £3.99 would be great or a fiver like HVB and stuff would be passable. Still unaware exactly why this game is anticipated and popular.

      • Its just a really fun puzzle game. Nothing more, nothing less.

    • Its a game that seems to meet the basics, probably why I hated it also.

  10. was wondering when this one would show its pretty face. might pick this one up

  11. Really enjoyed the demo for this. I’ve got a £20 PSN voucher on the way to get Trine after playing the recent demo, if this is £3.99 I’ll be very happy indeed (Trine is £15.99- I’m sure you can work out the maths).

  12. Great news. I’m definitely interested in picking this up, subject to price of course!! ;)

  13. I’ll definitely get this one, nice multiplayer game. Or at least I hope it is, never played the demo.
