Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Heavy Rain Dated

According to the latest Famitsu magazine, Solid Snake’s latest outing (although not chronologically, of course) is out on March 18th, 2010, along with about three hundred other AAA games.  Of course, this is for the Japanese market, but we’re hoping that we’ll be able to get our hands on The Snake pretty much around about the same time over here in Europe.

Of more interest to our readers, perhaps, is that Heavy Rain has been locked down for February 8th, 2010 in the land of the rising sun. Given that we’re assuming there’s going to be a Western release of the game before it lands in Japan, and previous versions have already gone out to the press, we’re banking on a January release for the ambitious story-focused title.

Finally, the evergreen Japanese magazine rated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 10/9/10/10 (39/40).  I’m smart enough not to throw around any reasons as to why I think this might be, of course, but last time I checked first person shooters weren’t all that popular over there.
