I can’t remember the last christmas updates. Are SCEE normally quite nice to us around that time and surprise us with offers and good stuff to get our greasy mits on?

  Last Christmas update was on Christmas Eve and had the Metal Gear Solid LBP pack and some other games on sale.
  
  The words ‘Metal Gear Solid LBP Pack’ should tell you that it was one of the top three updzates of all time.

I read last week that Sony have some PSN discounts planned for after the 17th (when the current “special offers” end). It was on a comment reply on their blog IIRC. They insinuated that there would be quite a few (discounts that is).

  Would make sense to have some special offers on for Minis, PSOne classics and full games for people getting PSP’s and PS3′s from the big bearded guy.

    Don’t hold your breath for Peggle eh. All the previous PopCap games published by SOE have had 3-4 months between US and EU releases. That puts Peggle to somewhere in February. :(
    
    There’s a decent chance of Braid before Christmas though.

    If you mean the PSP game Powerstone Collection then it came out in Europe a few weeks ago.
