In case you missed the announcement over on the EU Blog, this is a quick head’s up that this weekend Uncharted 2 is rewarding you with double the cash for kills and medals.  The bonus moolah is up for grabs from 18:00 GMT tonight all the way through until 19:00 GMT on Sunday 27th December.

There is no word as to whether the double cash for medals extends beyond the competitive multi-player modes into the co-op modes or even the single-player but firing up the game to find out has got to be the perfect excuse, as if you need one, to have another play of TSA’s game of the year.

P.S. If you are one of those who does not like to cheat to get date-related trophies by changing the date on your PS3, do not forget to fire up SingStar tomorrow (25th December) to get your “Happy Holiday” bronze trophy.
