Ryu Hayabusa To Star In Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

KOEI have just let us know that Ryu Hayabusa will star in the upcoming brawler Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. And he’s not the only one: iconic figures from Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 will appear exclusively in the PS3 version while (lesser known) characters from KOEI’s Warriors Orochi 2 will make guest appearances in Strikeforce for Xbox 360.

By completing guest character challenges, we’re told, players will win the right to use that guest character’s signature weapon in combat.  Another Team Ninja favourite is also set to appear in the PS3 version, although it’s not clear whether that particular bit of information is currently embargoed, so we’ll check.  Either way, this is a pretty neat crossover.
