I think we should all just assume that until Modern Warfare 2 does a ‘Marty Pellow’ and withdraws itself from the chart, it’s going to be owning these full-priced charts forever…although it still remains 2nd in the all-formats chart after Just Dance!

UK PS3 Chart: Week ending 23rd January:

Something strange has happened this week. Before I mention any other game I have to point out the massive jump that has been made by one game in particular – Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time. The latest outing for the oddball couple has seen it rise 18 places to take 8th place…I didn’t expect TSA’s review to have such an impact! Elsewhere, Uncharted 2 hasn’t stayed out of the top 5 for long as it climbs back to 4th, Borderlands re-appears, Batman disappears and so does Need For Speed: Shift (for the first time since I can remember).

UK 360 Chart: Week ending 23rd January:

After being relegated to number 2 last week by Army of Two: The 40th Day, Modern Warfare 2 has reclaimed it’s top spot. Bayonetta has slipped down to 8th, FIFA 10 climbs back up the charts and Forza Motorsport 3 is still in the top 3.
