21Last week saw Heavy Rain storm straight to the top of the PS3 chart but has Battlefield: Bad Company 2 become the 7th new number one of the year?
UK Ps3 chart: Week ending 6th March:
In short, yes. Bad Company 2 knocks Heavy Rain down to number two after just one week. Not much else is happening on the charts apart from the fact that Batman: Arkham Asylum has managed to break into the top 10 once again.
UK 360 chart: Week ending 6th March:
Bad Company 2 has also stormed to the top of the Xbox 360 chart, ending AvP’s reign. Everything else on the chart just reshuffles to accommodate EA’s latest shooter.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 steals AvP’s title as fastest selling game of the year as well as outselling the original Bad Company by 3-to-1. The game’s launch is also the best for any game released this early in the year.
