Perfect Dark Hits LIVE

Microsoft has now released Perfect Dark on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 MS Points as part of the Block/House party promotion.

Perfect Dark is a HD rework of Rare’s original title, bringing split screen co-op as well as 2-8 online multiplayer action. This new title is presented in full HD, 1080p at 60 frames per second, which should obviously please the purists out there.

The original game was of course a smash hit on the Nintendo 64, gaining critical acclaim from users and journalists. Plenty of people have been waiting for this title, so there will no doubt be a rush to download it now that it has appeared.

Ok so who is first in the queue?

Next week sees the release of the Games Room, which allows you to play retro games in a custom designed Arcade with your avatar. Also anyone who has downloaded all this month’s LIVE games (Toy Soldiers, Scrap Metal, Perfect Dark and Games Room) will receive 400 MS points and one month’s Gold Membership as a thank you. Not bad eh?
