Fat Princess is to be patched to version 1.5 today, bringing with it some brand new maps and a few improvements too.
The new maps are both snow themed and consist of includes two areas named Frost Bite and Candy Mountain. These look pretty great as you can see from the screens below.
Fixes from the new patch include:
- Warrior: Fixed to disallow shield activation when carrying objects, as well as attenuating damage against lava and drowning.
- Ice Mage: Changed level 1 area attack to slow enemies, not freeze them.
- Soccer map: Disabled online score saving for this level.

Does anyone still play this out of curiosity. I remember getting really excited about, loving all the humour about it and then finally buying it and getting plagued by connection problems. I kept trying for that first week, played a couple more games after the problems were largely resolved, and the got very, very bored of it.

How much is Fat Princess these days? I remember being underwhelmed by the beta/demo, but given how well the game is being supported, I’m tempted to revisit it.

I’ve been playing this again recently, it’s awesome how well this game is being supported.
