Remember that announcement promised for today by Hideo Kojima? Well it turns out that it was Metal Gear Solid collaborating with Monster Hunter.
According to Famitsu, Peace Walker will include elements of Monster Hunter 2G allowing users to fight the giant monsters such as the Tigarex and Rioreusu. The original Famitsu page is here, but the translation isn’t the best.
Snake does have a habit of borrowing from other games (remember that Assassin’s Creed video anyone?) , so this will probably come as no real surprise. But still if you are going to choose any game to collaborate with, Monster Hunter isn’t a bad one to choose.
