When we spotted two new trademark requests submitted by Sony (Until Dawn and Road To Zero), we suspected a vampire thriller (not enough of them in gaming if you ask us) and maybe a bleak tale of hard knocks respectively. Well, as you can’t get any bleaker than destroying the entire planet in reality, we weren’t a million miles off.

Not a game at all, Sony’s Road To Zero is a campaign to reduce the company’s carbon footprint to zilch by the year 2050. You can find out more about the environmental endeavour here.

Kudos to Sony for keeping an eye on our wonderful world. The question remains, however, what firmware will we be using in 2050? And, more importantly, will it have OtherOS support? That’s a joke, by the way. (Of course it will.)
