OK people pay attention, this is important. Reports are coming in of PSN account details being obtained and a credit card being charged for $350 worth of unauthorised purchases. Details are very sketchy but it appears that a chap called Dom Guerrera received a PSN message linking to a ‘code generator’ that promised him free content for the network.

A little later on his account had been used to order a shed load of content.

The original source of this news, Ironstar, are calling this a “PSN Hack” and that ‘the network is under attack’.   If you receive any emails or PSN messages offering you free content then simply delete them immediately and block the sender.  This news has been brought to you by The Stating The Bloody Obvious Foundation.

More news as we get it.
