Gran Turismo 90% Complete

9GT Planet have picked up on a recent interview with Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi in which he says that Gran Turismo is 90% complete.
Gran Turismo 5 is about 90 percent finished. There are currently around 140 people working on the project.
Given that he gave this figure to the USA Today back in January this year, you would be forgiven for thinking that the studio has had a rather long holiday from which they have just returned. So what have they been doing then?
The developer said that he would not release the game until it “satisfied everyone’s wishes and then exceeded them.”
He also went on to say that not everything he had hoped for will be included in the game but did add that GT5 marked the most significant step forwards since the original game was launched in 1997.
So when will we see the game? Anyone’s guess, but lets just hope that it is still this year.
