Famitsu are reporting that Square Enix’s NieR: Gestalt and twin sister-title NieR: Replicant will be getting paid DLC later this month. Though no mention of a Western release of this content, logic dictates that the Gestalt content will eventually find its way over here to Europe sometime in the future. Though named NieR: Gestalt in Japan, the game is identical to Western release NIER, which we reviewed (and somewhat liked despite its mercurial nature) here.
As long as it’s nothing to do with catching fish, we’ll consider it.
NieR: Replicant rocketed to the top of the Japanese charts upon its first week of release.
