Sony have been very vocal about their support for 3D, Microsoft less so. They have always claimed the XBox 360 is 3D capable and it looks like this is to become a reality at the end of June. A press release from LG’s Korean arm indicates LG and Microsoft have joined forces and an XBox with the latest 3D enabled firmware will be sold along LG’s new 3D televisions with anyone purchasing an LG 55/47LX9500 TV getting some free 3D Xbox games. The offer is scheduled to start at the end of June.
Rather helpfully the LG Flickr feed has a picture of a LG 3D TV, an Xbox and some blokes wearing 3D glasses playing a 3D game. I guess that settles that then. I do apologise if I’ve just spoiled one of your E3 suprises Microsoft.
