We’ve known about Guitar Hero 6 since last November, mind, but this looks like being the first official confirmation of the next in Activision’s long running music-em-up.
New to the series is “Quest Mode”, which the next issue of Official Xbox Magazine says is “carrying the burden” of the game, and a few tweaks to the characters including “alter egos” which can, for example, boost your maximum multiplier.
Guitar Hero 6 will be out later this year, will support all previously purchased music (making for over 300 tracks available at launch) and will be voiced by Gene Simmons.
