Eurogamer have just posted up the new trailer for Eidos Montreal’s cyberpunk super-sequel Deus Ex: Human Revolution, showcasing the game’s slick style and engaging concept.
Starting with footage previously found in the first teaser from March – a heavily augmented bad-ass waking from a dream featuring imagery ranging from medical experiments conducted by Dutch Renaissance men to the fable of Icarus – the piece goes on to set the scene, commenting on the social unrest prevalent in 2027 while highlighting the incredible tech available.
You’ll see stealth suits, body modification taken to extreme levels, all playing out against a backdrop of conspiracy and political corruption. No in-game footage is shown, unfortunately, but the aesthetic and feel of the game looks incredibly impressive; especially for fans of the futuristic dystopian genre.
