Lunchtime Discussion: PS3 vs PSP

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: the PSP’s a smashing machine. It really is – from humble beginnings to that reboot that came out of nowhere (with the sudden announcements of Motorstorm and LittleBigPlanet) the PSP brand has gone through some tough times and some great ones.

Recently, I’ve found myself preferring to fire up the little portable rather than the PS3 – perhaps it’s the fact that the Go has all the games on it I’ll ever need without having to get up and change disks, or whether it’s because it now plays host to PS3-esque games (such as the two mentioned above) but in a handy portable form.

Of course, with a living room graced with two PS3s, a Wii and a 360 I’m not going to get away from the consoles (and besides, PlayTV is lovely) but for a quick burst of gaming I’m being drawn to the PSP more than ever, despite (or indeed, because of) the rather more limited online capabilities the handheld has.

So, for owners of both a PS3 and a PSP, how do you split your time?
