As promised, Outlaws to the End, the first DLC for Rockstar’s rodeo-ruling Red Dead Redemption, is due for launch this month for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. What’s new? Now we have a concrete date: the 22nd.

A co-op feast of six-shooters and crazy chaps (of the leather legging variety), the content pack will consist of six cooperative missions and cost you absolutely nothing. If you’re looking for more detail of what the update actually consists of, hit the original story above.

In related cow-punching news, the game will also receive an update next week to fix some known issues. Problems with the Mo Van Barr bounty mission will be remedied, as will some noted multiplayer connectivity gripes. To mark the game getting a patch, Rockstar are also releasing the Expert Hunter and Savvy Merchant outfits along with their appropriate challenges for free.

When your game sells $10m in two days, you can be a bit magnanimous, I guess.
