Microsoft have unveiled a new game from Crytek during their E3 2010 press conference. A short video trailer was shown of the new game called “Codename: Kingdoms”. In the trailer we saw a Kratos styled man standing, scars were over much of his body, with blood flowing down his sword. This panned out to reveal several people standing in similar attire (I believe their clothing was Ancient Greek).
The video looked slick but it offered little detail. Microsoft gave no indication about what genre the game would be or when we should expect it.
The big news is that the new Crytek game with be exclusive to Xbox 360 but there was no suggestion this would use Kinect.

Amazing underwhelmed. The biggest cheer was because everyone there got a free xbox 360 slim. No price drop or Kinect price either.
At least my only MS bingo prediction was there.

i was mainly disapointed because soon i want to get a 360 and i was going to get kinetic because they originally planned games for hardcore gamers, instead they seemed to have turned their back on the people who care most

Lol, that has to be the worst E3 from MS in many many years.
Kinectimals was cool, Kingdoms from crytek MIGHT be cool and the new 360 has builti in Wifi (ABOUT DAMN TIME).
But the rest was all about casual games and the new 360 isn’t really slim, but hopefully it’s more silent.

the whole stop/play/fastforward and messenger thing was a good idea but you could just press a button instead which would be faster i think but i wanna try it out

Can Sony beat a CryTek
timedexclusive?? See tomorrow. Given Crytek’s past experiences I bet this is a FPS… A Beat’em up FPS… would be awesome. This reminds, wasn’t there a wii FPS with lots of gore and you could burst eyeballs with a finger? What was the name of that?14/06/2010 at 20:18

When I was watching all I could think of was God of War.
Sony have announced a lot already. If they still have enough to get away with not unveiling Killzone 3, LBP2, Infamous 2 and Motorstorm Apocalypse at E3 then they’ll be very please MS had so little.

Would have been nice to see some gameplay footage of the game. Just hope it isn’t another God of War rip off as could be inferred from the teaser. We’ve had enough of those to last a while.

quite a few of those kinect demos looked like the supposed player wasn’t actually playing the game and was just completing some rehearsed actions, sometimes going out of synch with the action.
before reading about how fake that show thing they put on was, i might have believed more of the demos were realtime, though some would never have convinced me, but now, i doubt quite a few of them.

The players did seem a little disconnected from the games but that could just be down the the make up of the show.
