Ronimo Games’ WiiWare side-scrolling RTS Swords & Soldiers is coming to the PSN this autumn. Influenced by tri-faction-based games such as StarCraft, Swords & Soldiers is recognised as one of the strongest WiiWare titles available, currently sporting a spiffing 84% aggregate score on Metacritic.
The game’s three factions are the Aztecs, the Vikings and the Imperial Chinese, all vying for the power of the Gods by smacking each other upside the head.
SOE will publish the port with Ronimo confirming added trophy support and online matchmaking. The game consists of ten missions per faction and split-screen multiplayer, and the PS3 version will feature 1080p visuals and an online mode that will put you up against an AI opponent until a human one is found.

Fantastic
Now I’m going to be stuck in the eternal dilemma of whether to buy anything or wait & see if it turns up in PS+

Yeah,
Shame the PSN is closed platform and there’s no way to find out sales figures, I suppose we’ll hear some dev moaning in a month or two that sales have plummeted (or not)

RTS usually does nothing for me but that looks great. If there’s a demo out, I’d be up for seeing how it goes. Top stuff, Kovacs. :-)
