Though it appeared today in unembeddable (note: not a word) format, we thought we’d wait until someone finally did the decent thing and upload an embeddable (real word this time) version of the new Dead Space 2 trailer. Three cheers for Eurogamer as here it is folks – Dead. Space. 2. Trailer. I don’t know why I’m adding periods all over the place here. Maybe because I’m still a little shaken after watching the traumatic new footage of Issac sauntering around Sprawl beset on all sides by ravenous Necromorophs. Yeah, that would do it.

Tempo is slowly rising for this one. I’m hoping for a few unsettling noises disrupting the silence and psychological type scares to go with the giant monsters and gore scares.

I hope they go more creepy than disturbing. Gore and loud monsters just don’t scare me, it’s the little things that you know will fuck you up but you just can’t seem to keep track of. Like the teenie tiny Necromorphs that you occasionally found in boxes in Dead Space.

Made me laugh the beginning saying MAY contain content inappropriate for children. At what point does a necromorph become too much for innocent eyes to see? I’m 24 and it definitely contained content that made me hide behind the sofa lol
