Irrational Launches ‘WhatIsIcarus.com’ Teaser Site

Apparently Icarus is a grey dot.

Not content with asking us to bookmark August 11th, Irrational Games has also launched a teaser site for the much rumoured ‘Project Icarus.’
If you head over there right now all you will be greeted with is a black screen with a grey dot on it. We’re assuming that’s not Icarus, because if it is there is going to be epic hissy fits around TSA Towers.
Needless to say our beady eyes are watching this site for changes – and we expect a full reveal on August 11th.
On an interesting side note, the site’s domain registry info does not directly link to Irrational, but parent-company Take-Two, along with sister subsidiary Rockstar Games. Weirdness.

I think it is a planet…
and in the days to come other elements will add to the picture, like another planet to the left-bottom of the current “grey dot”, you can see the curved line of another circle there.

I was just about to say that there is definately something to add to that part of the dot, I dont think they are planets though, just that it will build up a picture of some sort

It looks sort of like the ball on the end of a Move controller – I imagine the ‘flattened’ edge on the bottom left looks like it’s being obscured by the held part of the controller.

i thought it looked like the start of a lunar eclipse, but after reading that it does remind me of the move globe with part of it hidden behind the handle.
guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
