Rubbish. I’ve bought/won most of this stuff already. It’d be interesting to see what the US are getting.

I hope we (the US) get something better :O Although it not fair you guys keep getting the short end of the stick :(

it’s pretty much guaranteed the us will get better content, probably on week one, with three more weeks of content still to come.
and scee when questioned about the disparity will brush it off with more lame excuses.
it’s beginning to look like scee simply can’t be bothered.
no that’s not right, beginning? this has been going on for years.

Ditto I have ~10 of these already and what I don’t have I don’t want – this confirms I made the right decision not to subscribe to PSPlus. Unless they actually offer features and improvements to the basic service then I won’t be getting Pus – I don’t need discounts and freebies for old content I’ve already bought if it interested me.
And given that the EU version seems to offer far less content than the US version that only updates monthly I’ll see you in September to see if anything interests me, but on the strength of this I doubt it…

GREAT. Just fricking great. Yet again I already own 90% of that crap. Sony better make this fucking plus shit worth it next month. I want these promised betas and cloud storage

Cloud storage was never promised.

Yeah. Just realised I should of worded it a bit different. But still, I want more actual features instead of crappy games we all own. And who the hell plays minis????? Would be just as easy to type flash games into google and enjoy all of them

Minis are really good actually. It took me a while to get into the concept of playing them on PS3 but some of them are pretty cool. Take a look, they are so cheap you can’t really go wrong.

@theturtleking “crappy games we all own.” MediEvil is crap? I don’t think so.

Yeah but playing Medevil again after already playing it. on what is now a substandard system…. no thanks

PS1 is a substandard system? That’s weird, last time I checked Spyro, Crash, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil and Final Fantasy were still better than most of the stuff released today.

So far there hasn’t been single month that has one product that I want that I do not own. I am quite glad that I haven’t for PS+ but I do wish that there was some content that I wanted.

Me too , i hate to be one of those people who said “told you so” but I was (always am!) a sceptical cynical old B*ugger and i thought its best just to wait a bit to see what they do before taking the plunge.
Taking out 12 month subscriptions was absolute madness , i hope those unfortunate enough to have signed up are able to at least get some of their money back if they can cancel it .
Besides Joe Danger, Warhawk, Wipeout HD , BF1943 , Worms , Pixel Junk Monsters , Hustle Kings , Crash Commando , High Velocity Bowling , Flower and Super Stardust (all of which i already own ) what else is worth getting off the store ??
Surely its better just to get the few good PSN titles every 3 months or so when released .

I agree with you, but we’ve only had one month…

Yeah, 1 month … but normally, the launch month is an extravaganza to get everyone on board right? …sony? you hear that? i said extravaganza……..

Does not interest me what so ever

Got got got got got got got. All except MediEvil and Warhawk which I’m not interested in.
So glad I didn’t subscribe when peer pressure to do so was at its highest. Another great deal for new PS3 owners though.

Peer pressure? don’t you mean the little sack devil on your shoulder telling you that you need to keep Sony afloat single handedly by buying everything possible from the store?
Everyone I can remember was saying “If you’ve bought loads of stuff from the store already, I wouldn’t bother…”
Anyway, this article’s a re-post isn’t it? nothing new or different from what they announced back in June, right?

No it was all the annoying gold plusses appearing on my friends list and people going “omg Katy you’re such a gamer, how come you’re not getting +??!!?” And I just said, because I already own everything.

Oh, well that’s just people who didn’t know you spend more on PSN than they would do rearing a child to adulthood…
Not really peer pressure, they just didn’t know.

Katy, is there anything you haven’t “got” on the store lol?
02/08/2010 at 23:27

Plenty. But I own most of the stuff I want, lol. Also I get a fair bit for free so that’s one reason I have way too much. There are still loads of downloads on my ps3 I haven’t even installed, and a bunch more I’ve installed but haven’t clicked on yet lol.

Rubbish. I already have this stuff. Playstation Plus seems like such waste of money right now. Especially if you buy stuff as soon as its released.

That list has been around since PS Plus launched, they assured us that the Inferno Pool trial was actually going to be Infamous instead, will be interesting to see if that is the case judging by the fact that they haven’t changed it on the list yet.

I hope it’s not inFamous as that would mean a multiple gigabyte file is downloaded automatically onto my hard-drive for a game which I completed a year ago. I find it extremely annoying you can’t choose what you want auto-downloaded.

Once these 1st 2 months are out the way they’ve said they’re going for a mix of new & classic content
What I’m unsure about as I held off subscribing straight away is what to do when a game I want lands on the store… If I had PS+ I’d be tempted to hold off from buying it to see if it turned up in the subscription in the next month or two – then if it didn’t I’d probably miss out or end up buying and then I’d wonder what I was paying a subscription for.

You know what cc, I’ve become like that anyway lately. I bought Wakeboarding HD, Death Track Resurrection, TV Show King, Super Stacker, Groovin’ Blocks and a few others I now forget, and literally 1-2 weeks later the prices were slashed. I am slowly learning not to buy newly released games anymore. Which is a shame because it kind of spoils the excitement of checking the store each Wednesday. It’s ok when they discount year-old games but lately they’ve been doing it for games that have only been out 6-8 weeks – look at Section 8, it was $29.99, now it’s $9.99, same deal with Final Fight: Double Impact. I would be pretty narked if I had bought those recently. It’s like buying into a lottery now when they are doing this and I don’t like it.

I’ve been stung like that too. Bought a few and watched the prices tumble by enough to make it smart! I’ve not subscribed to PS+ either as I’ve bought everything I want. To be fair, I’m happy buying new if it’s a must have. I just don’t seem to learn from the “potentials” when what I really need to do is bide my time.

Where did they say that?

I can’t really say it’s a bad month, because apart from the minis and MediEvil, I’ve already bought all of the contenc; but for that reason it’s a disappointing month for me.
