Doing the internet rounds this morning is a new job posting on the Naughty Dog website, looking for a lighting artist with “production experience with PS3, XBOX 360 and/or PC”.
Now before you all get your pitchforks out and brand the Dogs as some kind of heathen, this does not mean that the studio behind the fantastic Uncharted games is ‘doing an Insomniac‘ and moving to multiplatform development. Rather, it looks like the studio is looking for an artist who has experience working on any of the current-generation platforms, which is to be expected.
On top of that of course, is the fact that unlike Insomniac (who are independent), Naughty Dog is actually a Sony-owned studio, so they’re not going anywhere. Rage denied.
