25Back in July, a listing for a Crysis 2 “Limited Collectors Edition” appeared on the site of German retailer PlayFront.de. Today, Crytek and EA have confirmed the package, officially branding it the “Nano Edition”.
The Nano Edition is apparently “designed for the ultimate Crysis fan” and includes a copy of the game housed in a steelbook casing, including a hologram decoy weapon attachment, an 11″ model of Prophet standing on a New York taxi and a high-quality art book, all housed in a special backpack styled after the game’s Nanosuit.
A Limited Edition will also be released, including everything but the statue.
The Cryis 2 Nano Edition will apparently be available in “extremely limited quantities via pre-order”, and will cost £119.99 here, $149.99 in the States and €129.99 in Europe. No price has yet been announced for the Limited Edition. The game was recently confirmed for a 25th March release.

That’s quite expensive. I might bite though, considering I won my name in the game!
I ended up choosing “Rick ‘Parker’ Astley” though, so keep an eye out for that :P

“Crysis 2 will set the graphical benchmark on consoles”…has been stated by Crytek previously. I’m waiting to see. I’m not overly bothered by graphics as gameplay = >, but still, bold statement considering Killzone 2 and upcoming 3. Game looks good otherwise.
