Comic Jumper To Kick Off Microsoft’s Game Feast

Headlining Microsoft’s inaugural “Game Feast” XBLA promotion (think Summer of Arcade but with more food) Twisted Pixel’s Comic Jumper will release on October 6th. The XBLA exclusive features The Captain, a down and out comic book hero who, after his book gets the axe, is promptly picked up by Twisted Pixel and inserted into other comic books in order to “save their story-lines.” It’s all quite meta and fourth wall smashing, with Art Director David Leung stating:

“Four completely unique art styles in one game, each with their own gameplay modes and animations? It’s cool, I don’t need to see my family.”

The game will cost 1200 of your Microsoft points and ships with a Premium Theme, Gamerpics, and free Avatar. Also, and as a gift to fans of Twisted Pixel’s previous game, Spolsion Man, Comic Jumper also includes one new single-player and one new multiplayer level for the explosive game.

The guys will be at PAX offering gamers a chance to play their new title. They’ll also be giving away four custom painted “slim” Xbox 360s featuring The Captain.
