‘Deadstorm Pirates’ Heads To The PSN

Does the name ‘Deadstorm Pirates’ sound familiar?  It’s probably because the game is included as part of Time Crisis: Razing Storm.  You did read CB’s review right?  Rather ironically CB said the following about it:

“As an addition, it works but don’t expect it to hold up as an entirely separate game.”

Oh dear.  Essentially the title is a Move/G-con 3 compatible lightgun game with a pirate twist.  The price for entry is a rather steep £15.99/€19.99 when it’s released this month.

  1. Whoa! That’s not steep, it’s bleedin’ vertical!
Don’t think i’ll be taking the plunge!

  2. Razing Storm is £49.99 in the shops, and Deadstorm Pirates is 1/3rd of the package, so that price is on par with buying the Bluray here in Norway…

    • Razing Storm is nowhere near that price in the UK. £49.99 = ouch!

    • where in gods name do you shop here in norway? i found it for 23£ at spaceworld ><

      • Thanks for that. I’ll go pick it up for that price.

  3. Razing Storm will probably drop to that price soon anyway, the reviews it has been getting. For something that take little over an hour to complete, that price is madness.

    • Exactly, you can get the full game for £30 at Amazon already, and given that Deadstorm is essentially a bonus game to the main Razing Storm game there is no way it should be priced at £16, it should have been half that price at most.

Give it a few more weeks and the full retail package will be down to £17.95 at online stores like Zavvi…

  4. I wouldn’t pay that for Time Crisis never mind a mini game !

  5. it’s easily my favorite game on the razing storm disc, it has that familiar feeling of cheesyness that i like about the house of the dead games, witch should come to the PS3 as well :-D

    • Definitely agree with this, they were great games!

  6. I’ve seen Raising Storm retailing at £25 – £30, so it would be much more convenient to buy that instead of buying this on its own.
