Note that, as with Gran Turismo 4, there’s every chance more tracks will be unlocked as you progress through the game. The Top Gear track, for one.
Update: this is a list of all the tracks available in practice mode, from the off. So, yes, it’s almost certain that the list will expand.

I don’t think so mate. There’s 78 tracks on that list and there were suppose to be 70+ tracks on wikipedia,so I reckon this is the full list.

What??! No Infineon?! This disappoints me greatly. Seems quiet limited in selection in all honesty. GT PSP has 45 different tracks………..
I seriously hope this isn’t all of them.

“Autodromo Nationale Monza / No Chicane”
Nice!!

agreed. I hate that damned chicane. Can almost never get my braking, turning, stop braking, start accelerating gently, stop accelerating, turn the other way, start accelerating gently, level out and go full throttle points right in F1… Always mess it up some how, or go round it so slow I might as well have stopped moving were it not for nobody else being able to do it either…

Heading into Curve-Grande at 200mph+! I wonder if a slight lift will be needed? And heavy braking into the Roggia chicane! Fab!

I am sure i saw Monaco in the opening intro movie… obviously lots of nice things to unlock as you progress through the game. That’s an impressive amount of tracks to have available from the get go.

maybe all of you know this allready, but it isnt quite clear to me…
looking at the list it seems you can not race on all tracks at day & nighttime and also not all tracks have weather effects? and if there is rain/snow is determined at the track selection? so no dynamic weather either? or is the weather kind-of-dynamic if you choose a rain-track?
not that i believe for one second i will be disappointed by the game as such, but one or two little disappointments seem likely…

Yeah, that does concern me slightly. I was hoping for a range of weather and dynamic times of day (or at least a day/night selction)for all tracks. :(
Definitely a bit dissapointed if that’s not the case.

It was my understanding that dynamic weather is only on the longer races.

well that would be something, at least…
i dont need dynamic weather on a 5 lap race, but 10 laps and more would be nice with dynamic weather.
(im talking about “normal” tracjs here, not nürburgring ;))
do we know if there are pit stops?

I had thought that too. But it makes sense to limit the weather to certain tracks, especially if some don’t ever see rain, there’s no point having the option. And again this is the practice mode, so maybe there’s more in game races with weather etc..

Nice to get these bits of info but what we all want is the release date.

Maybe they wont give us another release date maybe they’ll just tell us when it’s in the stores since the last release date didn’t really work

They might give a bit of notice (week or so) as it takes a while for the packaged games to reach the retailers.

Roughly 28 different tracks, with mulitple variations bringing the total to 78 and that’s only at the beginning? Great.
