We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, when they remove your ear!  Good tidings we bring, as you will slice things, the Dead Space 2 demo’s coming, and before the New Year!

That’s right, it has been confirmed that a demo for Dead Space 2 will be landing on December 21st, which is five weeks before the game’s release. EA had the following to say:

“The demo will allow players to discover the Church of Unitology and help Isaac defeat the Necromorph outbreak in a gruesome, unforgiving battle on The Sprawl.

Players will also have access to a variety of new tools that Isaac can use to fight Necromorphs, including the new Javelin gun, updated stasis recharge mechanic and enhanced telekinesis ability.

Players will also experience the advanced suit, equipped with jets that will allow Isaac full 360 degree control in Zero-G space.”

Have you been good this year?  Santa will know.

  4. Hey dan did you sneeze whilst typing Full 3600 control or have I missed something :) sounds way better than full 360 control. I’m going to have to buy it just to see how much control 3600 gives you over the rubbish 360 control I was expecting ;)

  8. Hopefully a bit better than the demo for the first one…
Felt like a completely different game to the full version, which was infinitely better than the pile of trash ‘demo.’
It probably damaged their sales too.

    • The demo level was actually in the final game, about half way through, by then though, I was prepared for anything.

    • Oh i remember that. I seen Dead Space cheap, can’t remember the price as this was months ago, in GAME but thought i’ll try the demo first. The demo very nearly put me off buying the game but you guys on here convinced me to get it. If the demo is crap for number 2 though i’ll still get the game as i love Dead Space
