Kim Sellentin, Producer at SEGA Studios Australia, has been speaking to Gamesauce regarding her start as a QA tester, her approach of cultivating a learning culture in the studio, and strategies for current and future producers.  It’s an interesting read, but there’s a throw-away line at the end that’s quite surprising:

“Kim Sellentin is currently working with SEGA Studios Australia on an unannounced multi-platform sports title.”

The first franchise that springs to mind is the ‘Mario & Sonic’ crossover games, which have performed amazingly well.  However, the accompanying picture showing Sellentin and motion capture actor Raamon Vaccaro seems a bit hardcore for such a child friendly series, in terms of the fighting poses.

  2. I hope its not another Mario and Sonic , those games are dire . Maybe they’re making a London 2012 Olympics game . In fact judging by the picture that looks like the Getting Mugged for your handbag in London event !
